How Semen Retention Causes Vivid Dreams

One thing all retainers have experienced while retaining their seed is vivid dreams. Many retainers, including me, have realized that their dreams become emotionally intense, detailed, and highly realistic when they are on semen retention.

As someone who writes down their dreams, I found that I easily remember my dreams while on semen retention because they are always clear and emotionally charged. In fact, semen retention makes me realize that I usually have many dreams at night, as I always remember all my dreams upon waking up.

When I am sexually active, I only remember one dream, and sometimes I find it hard to remember a dream’s details despite knowing that I dreamt at night. However, when I am on semen retention, I usually remember almost every detail of my dream or dreams even hours after waking up.

Like the ancients, I always see the dream world as a real realm that exists. When we sleep, our bodies become almost inactive, allowing the soul to rise above the illusion of physical reality and experience the dream world, which is usually a reflection of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

Although the physical world is also a reflection of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions, the dense nature of physical reality prevents these factors from manifesting instantly. In the dream world, these factors manifest instantly because it is a less dense reality that vibrates at a higher frequency than physical reality.

When we retain our seed, the reflection of thoughts, emotions, and feelings becomes so clear in the dream world because semen retention ensures that more energy is available to them. As we all know, thoughts, emotions, and feelings depend on energy for them to manifest into reality. This is why focusing on a particular thought, which is directing more energy to it, usually ensures that it manifests more intensely and clearly.

The additional energy conserved through semen retention means that more energy is available to our thoughts, emotions, and feelings, giving them greater intensity and allowing them to manifest more clearly in the dream world, resulting in extremely vivid dreams.

Another possible explanation for vivid dreams on semen retention, as I write in my book, Celibacy: The Magic of the Rising Serpent: Esoteric & Occult Teachings About the Accumulated Life-Force Energy, is that “vivid dreams occur because when one accumulates the life-force energy by avoiding sex or masturbation, more of it becomes available to all the higher chakras, including the Third-Eye Chakra, which is associated with dreams and prophetic visions. But when one releases sexual energy, they ensure that a small amount of the energy remains within. This limited supply is barely enough to sustain the basic functions of the body, and very little is left to nourish the higher centers. As a result, the Third-Eye Chakra receives insufficient energy and becomes inactive, leading to dreams that are faint, fragmented, or easily forgotten. Or maybe a celibate’s dreams become vivid and prophetic because the accumulated life-force energy increases spiritual sensitivity, enabling them to clearly perceive the dream world. In such a heightened state, the dream world is no longer hazy; it feels alive and detailed, almost like an extension of waking reality. Conversely, the release of this energy reduces inner sensitivity and leaves the subtle body less receptive to the impressions of the dream world. The dreams may still occur, but the awareness required to perceive them clearly is dulled.”

An open or active Third-Eye Chakra is usually connected to experiencing intense and vivid dreams. For this chakra to be open or active, it requires a continuous flow of life-force energy. It is then arguable that the accumulated energy on semen retention activates this chakra by enabling this continuous flow of energy, resulting in more memorable hyper-realistic dreams.

Besides this, the fact that semen retention is a spiritual practice that increases spiritual sensitivity also explains why it results in vivid dreams. From time immemorial, semen retention has been regarded as the basic foundation of spiritual practice. It has always been seen as the secret to increasing or cultivating spiritual sensitivity because it allows us to rise from earthly or bodily consciousness to higher states of consciousness.

This increased spiritual sensitivity could be the reason why we experience vivid dreams on semen retention, as it ensures a heightened awareness of spiritual realities or higher dimensions. When our spiritual sensitivity is increased, we become more receptive to subtle experiences that would otherwise remain faint or unnoticed. This heightened sensitivity allows us to perceive the dream world with greater clarity, making its images, sounds, emotions, and events appear more vivid and detailed. Rather than experiencing dreams as vague or fragmented impressions, we become more aware of what is taking place within them, allowing the dream world to feel more real and immersive.

If the ancients knew that avoiding sexual intercourse causes vivid dreams, and retainers today experience vivid dreams while on semen retention, then the theories attempting to explain the connection between semen retention and vivid dreams do not matter. What matters is that vivid dreams on semen retention are a real experience that has been consistently reported from ancient times to the present day.
